Four regions, one process
Michigan's industrial geography is distinct enough that the wire we see changes by region. These pages describe what each area produces and how removal works there.

How removal works across the state
Michigan is a large state with two peninsulas, and that shapes logistics. Southeast Michigan loads are usually dense and close together; a U.P. pickup may be a single reel that has to justify a long drive.
- Southeast Michigan — same-week scheduling is realistic for most loads because of volume and proximity.
- West and Central Michigan — routine, with removal planned around the load size and access.
- Northern Michigan and the U.P. — larger lots or higher-value cable make the most sense; send details and we will be straight with you about whether the trip works.
Tell us about dock height, forklift availability, reel weights and site hours in the form. It is the difference between a smooth pickup and a wasted trip.

Where is your material?
Send the details and photos once — we review the lot and come back with a real number, not a range.
What helps us quote fast
- Cable markings and jacket legends from the reel tag
- Total footage, reel count or an estimated weight
- Whether the material is new surplus, unused or a partial reel
- How a truck gets to it — dock, forklift, ground level

Questions sellers ask before they call
Do you have an office or yard in my city?
No. We do not operate a public yard, warehouse or staffed office in any city we list, and we do not publish local phone numbers. Locations pages describe the areas we buy from and the material we see there.
Do you buy from the Upper Peninsula?
Yes, when the lot is large enough or valuable enough to justify the trip. Medium-voltage cable, large aluminum and full reels of copper are the most likely to make sense from the U.P.
Is pickup included in the quote?
Removal and loading are part of the agreed terms, and the logistics of your location are factored into the offer. There is no separate surprise freight charge after the fact.

Surplus wire sitting in a warehouse costs money every month
Send what you have and we will tell you what it is worth. One reel, a pallet of cut lengths, or a full rack of medium-voltage cable — start with the details and a few photos.
